Ich habe das Internet gelöscht! | I Have Deleted the Internet!

Ich habe das Internet gelöscht! | I Have Deleted the Internet!

Experiences of Philipp Spielbusch.

Philipp Spielbusch is an outstanding IT expert. Awake, agile and always up to date. His gnarled clientele in the wild expanses of Westphalia, on the other hand, sets "12345" as the password in the computer behind the unguarded counter of the land market or angrily asks him to change the ink in his (!) fax machine because their sheets come out white. Furthermore, the dog is always barking "when the WiFi whistles." In his office, that Philipp shares with the taciturn Wulf, he doesn't have it any easier. At the glass table sits the uninvited permanent guest Jonas and knits conspiracy theories. On the phone, the mother is sure that she just now has unintentionally deleted the internet.
An everyday report from the front, which became so well known nationwide that people passing through on the A1 leave the motorhway and head to Drensteinfurt in order to take a look at Philipp and his cult office.

Da kann ich ja gleich zu Fuß gehen! | I Might as Well Walk!

Da kann ich ja gleich zu Fuß gehen! | I Might as Well Walk!

More mockery from Andreas Schorsch.

Louder? More striking? More violent passengers? No! Although the second episode of the station stories is as absurd as the first part, it takes the time to really explore characters like the overprotective Annika or the always contact seeking permanent guest Willi in more detail and depth. Even the refugee crisis finds its way into the windy corridors.
Besides, one learns more than ever about the incomprehensible, but true demands and ideas of the dear customers. An on-time guarantee for the reserved journey in one year. Advise for home improvement. Freshly shot deer in the on-board restaurant. Customers without delusions of grandeur, on the other hand, are made happy by Schorsch, who instead of guessing their city directly guesses their home village and even knows detailed facts about it.
A curious intimate play of the madmen.

Wofür sitzen Sie eigentlich hier? | What Are you Sitting here For? Wofür sitzen Sie eigentlich hier? - Hörbuch

Wofür sitzen Sie eigentlich hier? | What Are you Sitting here For?

Mockery from Andreas Schorsch.

He loves his job and knows every place along the German tracks. But if the passengers treat him bad, he tricks on them like a master mentalist. Andreas Schorsch is the lighthouse and avenging angel of the Deutsche Bahn in one person. A giant behind the counter of the DB information desk, which everyone continues to call "Service Point".
His everyday experiences at Düsseldorf Central Station make the audience laugh tears, but also offer a disarmingly honest insight into the station's social biotope. Built around lively dialogue with the cuddly colleague Annika and delicious power struggles with his small boss, Schorsch's observations offer some crystal clear truths.
An episodic painting of manners, as an audiobook swingingly recorded by Ingo Naujoks, who, without knowledge of the ghostwriters, said on the first read: "That sounds like Hartmut!"

Ein Fliesenleger fugt sich durch | A Tiler Gouges Through

Ein Fliesenleger fugt sich durch | A Tiler Gouges Through

Experienced anecdotes by Jan Brechmann.

The lovable tiler Jan Brechmann is always "well satisfied" with his life. From his customers but there's no way to tell. The Buddhist among the craftsmen meets people who would be deleted by every editor as being "hopelessly exaggerated", if they would be fiction. The choleric man who, in his basement apartment, watches the news channel roaringly loud and talks bad about his ex-wife while the TV shows gunfires in the Middle East. The messie-mother who devastates the life of her hard-working teenage daughter and gets upset that the offspring is not tidying up her room. The nouveau riche with a private fitness oasis, where, in addition to the treadmill for people, there's also one for the combat dogs. Or the first-person shooter gamer boy, who is more fascinated by the tiler's nimble hands than by his game.
A literary docu-soap and tragicomic character study of the eastern Northrine-Westfalia.

Der Weindieb | The Wine Thief

Der Weindieb | The Wine Thief

Short novel by Wilko Weiss.

A new hero, but his familiar theme: Country life does not let go of Wilko Weiss as a writer. In this short novel it's about Tim Brigg and his wife Laura. He writes below his level as a columnist for a local newspaper, she's an advertising designer and brings four fifths of the income home. That's something that Tim could actually not care about, if it weren't for his unbearably successful neighbour Mr. Petersen. This surgeon is athletic, well-read and eloquent, handsome, a connoisseur of wine and competent in all things. When the man goes on his ski vacation, Tim and Laura are looking for his house and pug a bottle of wine for their guests, which turns out to be an antique treasure.
A timeless comedy about neighbourly relationships, about deception and self-deception and about how one can reconcile himself with his fate quite well.

Liebling, ich habe das Haus getauscht | Darling, I've Exchanged the House

Liebling, ich habe das Haus getauscht | Darling, I've Exchanged the House

Roman von Wilko Weiss.

The starting point of this second family comedy about Ben Breuer and his fuzzy family could as well be a good scary movie. Holidays in a strange villa at the lake, with gigantic grounds and an odd couple of young men posing as gardeners and caretakers. With their vital and slightly anarchistic way of life, Lasse and Klitschi are sneaking into the life of the Breuers and even into the heart of Marie. No wonder, as her own husband becomes more and more joyless and angry through all the suppressed worries. Besides he has much too much distrust with the mysterious patron, who by free will switches a gigantic estate with their little house in the middle class district. He's not gonna be a supervillain who has to hide? Will he?
The second volume sparkles like a bathing lake in midsummer: cheerful, but with dark depths.

Der Hausmann Der Hausmann | The House Husband

Der Hausmann | The House Husband

Novel by Wilko Weiss.

Ben Breuer is a controller and has had everything under control so far. His job. His family life with his wife Marie and the children Lisa and Tommy. His male friendship with Gregor, the permanent bachelor, who always has some cold Kölsch beer ready. When Ben's company goes bankrupt, a career door opens for Marie shortly afterwards. So far she has not been challenged in her profession as an architect with a small home studio for a long time. Now she commutes to the big city, and Ben runs the business at home as a house husband. The tasks that he has to perform between raising children, training the cat and doing home office, overwhelm him enormously. So he secretly outsources them to service providers who must never meet his wife.
A special gift tip is the audiobook: The actor Holger Stockhaus tells this story in such a great role-playing speech as if he were a whole ensemble.
