As this ultimate satirical declaration of love to the most important trivial thing in the world has been published during the World Championship year 2014, the editors of the magazine Elf Freunde | Eleven Friends refused to review the book on their literature pages at all. Years later, we heard from insiders, what the reason was: This pamphlet has been far too sports-conservative for the taste of the turf hipsters from Hamburg; indeed it's a dangerous glorification of old school football, in which bastions like Jürgen Kohler and slandering, hat-wearing retirees next to the field put the world in fear and fright.

In Hartmut und ich | Hartmut and Me it was the favourite place of the first-person narrator and became a cult object.
In Oliver Uschmann's tour-rider it's the only allure as a condition for the hotel room.
In this collection of exuberant tales it gets its due leading role: The bathtub.
As a leitmotif and a place of retreat, it forms the centre of unerring stories about the great themes in life of the modern man like sex, music, illness, transience, alcohol, procrastination or envy, which is massively underestimated as a restrain on life. The final story about the seminar "GRANT", in which the men learn how to grant others their successes, is a secret highlight in the work of Witt-Uschmann. The book itself was beautifully designed by Lappan as a hardcover with a directly embossed cover picture, great typography and cute bubbles.
